Shopify development that fits how you actually sell.

Custom builds, extensions and integrations for stores that have outgrown what a template can do. This page covers what's included, who it's a fit for, and how we work. No call required to find that out.

Our approach

Custom where it earns its place. Standard where it doesn't.

Every bit of custom code is something to maintain and pay for later. So we build custom only where it removes friction or unlocks something your store can't do otherwise, and we use what Shopify already does well for everything else.

What's included

Where custom development pays for itself.

Four areas, each judged on whether it helps conversion or helps you run the business.

01

Custom themes and sections

Bespoke storefront work built around your catalogue and customers, not a template stretched over every product.

02

Shopify Plus

Checkout customisation, B2B and wholesale features, and automation, used where they genuinely help and left alone where they don't.

03

Integrations

Stock, ERP, shipping and accounting connected to the store, scoped properly first so cost and timing are known up front.

04

Performance

Speed and Core Web Vitals treated as a sales issue: a slow page costs conversions long before anyone measures it.

Is this you?

We're honest about development fit, in both directions.

A custom build is a real investment. We'd rather tell you upfront if you don't need one.

A great fit

  • Have outgrown your theme and need things it can't do
  • Need Shopify to talk to the other systems that run the business
  • Running B2B or wholesale alongside retail and need both to work properly
  • Want a build a small internal team can actually maintain afterwards

Probably not a fit

  • Wants custom features for their own sake, with no link to sales
  • A standard theme would do the job and you'd rather save the money
  • Wants a fixed, unchangeable build with no room to test after launch
  • Chasing the cheapest quote over a build that earns its cost back
How we work

Scope it, build it, then keep measuring it.

Step 1

Scope what's needed

What the store has to do, what Shopify already does, and the smallest custom build that closes the gap.

Step 2

Build and test

Built in the open and tested against real journeys and real devices before it touches your live store.

Step 3

Launch and measure

Launch, then report on speed, conversion and revenue so we can see whether the build is doing its job.

Questions

Shopify development, answered honestly.

Do we need Shopify Plus?

Often not. Plus earns its cost when you need things like checkout customisation, B2B and wholesale tooling, or heavy automation. We'll tell you honestly if standard Shopify does the job, rather than sell the bigger plan.

Should we go headless?

Rarely. Headless adds cost and complexity, and it only pays back for a small number of brands with very specific needs. We'll say so if it's not for you, and build it properly if it is.

Can you work on our existing theme?

Yes. Often the right answer is to fix and extend what's there, not start again. We'll look at the theme and tell you which makes more sense.

Can you connect Shopify to our other systems?

Usually, yes: stock, ERP, shipping, accounting and similar tools. We'll scope the integration properly first so there are no surprises on cost or timing.

What happens after the build?

We keep reporting on speed, conversion and revenue, and treat the store as something to keep improving. Ongoing care is available if you want it, and so is a clean handover if you don't.

How it fits together

A better build is the start. Traffic and repeat sales are what make it pay.
