Move to Shopify without losing what you've earned.

Replatforming planned around the things that matter most: your rankings, your customers and your revenue, all making it through the switch. This page covers what's included, who it's a fit for, and how we work. No call required to find that out.

Our approach

A migration isn't a rebuild. It's a transfer, and transfers go wrong in the details.

Most of what a store has earned in search sits in places nobody looks at: URLs, redirects, page titles, structured data, internal links. Lose track of them and the new site can launch beautifully and quietly start losing sales. We plan the move around protecting those things first, and the new platform second.

What's included

Five things we protect on the way over.

Every migration is different, but these are the parts we never skip.

01

Every URL accounted for

A full crawl of the old site, then a redirect map from every old URL to its new equivalent, so links and rankings carry across instead of landing on a 404.

02

Rankings and search signals

Titles, descriptions, headings, structured data and internal links carried over deliberately, with a crawl before and after to check nothing slipped.

03

Products, customers and orders

Catalogue, customer accounts and order history moved across and checked, not just exported and hoped for the best.

04

Tracking and integrations

Analytics, ad pixels and the tools that run your business reconnected and tested before launch, so you're never flying blind afterwards.

05

Launch and aftercare

A launch plan that avoids your busiest trading days, then close monitoring of errors, rankings and conversion in the weeks that follow.

Is this you?

We're honest about migration fit, in both directions.

Replatforming is a real investment. We'd rather tell you upfront if it's the wrong move right now.

A great fit

  • Outgrowing WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce or Wix and spending too much time fixing the platform
  • Have rankings and traffic worth protecting and can't afford a messy move
  • Want a direct line to the people planning and doing the migration
  • Ready to treat the move as a chance to fix what's been holding the site back

Probably not a fit

  • Planning to move platform to solve a problem that isn't actually the platform
  • Wants a migration done over a weekend with no audit beforehand
  • Chasing the cheapest quote over a move that keeps what you've earned
  • A site so small and new that there's nothing yet worth protecting
How we work

Audit, map, move, watch.

Step 1

Audit and map

A crawl and audit of what the current site has earned, and a plan for every URL, template and integration that needs to make the move.

Step 2

Build and test

The new store built and tested on a private build, with the redirect map and data checked before anything goes live.

Step 3

Launch and watch

Launch at a sensible time, then watch errors, rankings and conversion closely and fix what shows up fast.

Questions

Shopify migration, answered honestly.

Will we lose rankings if we move to Shopify?

Some movement in the weeks after any migration is normal, and we won't pretend otherwise. The job is to keep it small and short: every old URL mapped and redirected, metadata and structured data carried across, and a crawl before and after so nothing quietly drops out.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on catalogue size, how much custom functionality you have, and how clean your data is. We'll give you a realistic timeline after the audit, based on your actual site, not a template answer.

Can we keep our existing URLs?

Not exactly. Shopify fixes the structure of product, collection and page URLs, so some will change. That's fine as long as every old URL redirects properly to its new equivalent, which is exactly what the redirect map is for.

Do we have to redesign the site at the same time?

No. Sometimes it makes sense to move first and improve after, so you're only changing one thing at a time. Sometimes the old design is part of the problem. We'll tell you which, rather than sell you a rebuild by default.

What do you migrate from?

WooCommerce, Magento (Adobe Commerce), BigCommerce and Wix most often, but we'll look at anything. If Shopify isn't the right destination for you, we'll say that too.

How it fits together

Migration is step one. What you do with the new platform is the point.

Often paired with Web Design, SEO and Shopify Development. See how it all fits together.
